A great interesting day, made even more special with the appearance of Peter Tattersall, Peter Hook, Clint Boon and Peter Wadsworth.
John and Rosemary Barrett organised the event. John was full of enthusiasm and knowledge of the Stockport music scene. The couple made everyone welcome. The after event was great with everyone chatting and it was very lively.

john is very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of music around the stockport area as well as being an ambassador for stockport town. He's a lovely bloke and the event was amazing especially getting to speak to clint boon and peter hook

This was a free event, just a short walk in Stockport showing us the important buildings and telling a story of the music scene throughout the years. The guide was knowledgeable and he'd a few former band members and other people involved over the years. They are in the process of putting up 10 plaques around Stockport to show the influential people involved in the area.
