Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night

Funhouse Comedy Club brings another great night of laughter to Foxlowe Arts Centre, Leek on Thursday September 5th.

Topping the bill is actor, stand-up and winner of the English Comedian of The Year 2015 the appealing Brennan Reece, who has appeared on ‘Live at the Apollo’ and supported Rob Brydon and Joe Lycett on tour. His lively and sometimes uncomfortable attitude to life is perceptible in his fast paced, vibrantly drawn, hysterical tales.

Opening the night will be the hilarious Jonny Awsum, who appeared on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent 2017 and cajoled Ant and Dec into joining his audition and has supported Jason Manford on his arena tour. Starting out as barman at The Chuckle Club for eight years he then decided to take to the stage. With his guitar and musical parodies he amuses his audiences charming them with his warm and friendly persona, his style of audience participation is second to none. He has presented for Sky Sports, been warm up act for Big Brother and Loose Women and also starred in several adverts including Cravendale, The Post Office, Experian and even Puntigamer beer in Austria. 

Completing the line-up is quirky Paul Campbell, with his personal musings.

Compere for the night will be the cheeky, chatty Dave Twentyman, who puts a big smile on everyone's face. Talking a lot about the subjects closer to home such as family life and friends.
