Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night
Funhouse Comedy Club returns to Foxlowe Arts Centre, Leek on Thursday March 6th for a laughter packed night.
Topping the bill is the incredibly likeable, hilarious, warm and unique Emmanuel Sonubi, who has appeared on 'Live at The Apollo' and ‘QI’. An ex-bouncer, he has many personal tales about playing pranks with his kids and his awful parenting skills.
Opening the night will be Sol Bernstein, a legend on the circuit who has rubbed shoulders with the likes of Sinatra, the Rat Pack, Lenny Bruce and Doris Day. One part Alf Garnett, two parts Mel Brooks, and three parts like nothing you've ever heard. The oldest Jewish comic in the business is a laugh a minute, delivering his lines with acidic humour and chutzpah.
Completing the line-up is Pam Ford, a real force of nature, full of Aussie charm and hilarious gossip.
Compere for the night will be the cheeky, chatty Dave Twentyman, who puts a big smile on everyone's face. Talking a lot about the subjects closer to home such as family life and friends.
Tickets are £15 in advance.
