Review of Staffordshire Oktoberfest 2021

We had a great time at this Oktoberfest, unfortunately they did advertise an Oompah Band which they didn't have, however, the entertainment they did have 'Men in Shorts' were really really good and kept things lively for a couple of hours.
Also, they advertised pretzels, these were not available either, but they did have authentic German sausage, although they were a little overpriced.
Having been to a few Oktoberfests over the years, this was by no means the worst one but it wasn't the best either, they did have real German biers served in steins, which weren't overpriced in my opinion, its not unheard of to pay £4 - £4.50 for a pint in your local pub, so £9 for a 2pint stein of ABK Weissbier or Hells is reasonable.
We would definitely consider returning to this one next year. 

Awful music,  only one catering trailer, £10 for a portion of chips. Not enough choice of food. Drinks were really expensive , for 5 of us it was £40 a round and £48 on one of the rounds.  The ground was all muddy as there was no flooring. Thought it would be German themed, just a tent with people getting drunk. We left at 8.30. Never again!!!


The night was not what was advertised. There wasn't even a floor. It was terrible

Really disappointed. Out tickets for cancelled on the Friday and moved to the Saturday. 2 of our group couldn’t make the Saturday and I paid for the tickets and lost money. The flooring didn’t turn up so was muddy and slippy after a few hours of dancing, beer spilled. The VIP was definitely not worth the extra and was quicker to go to the bar than wait for someone to serve you. The venues was cramped and no where to dance. Was not allowed to dance on benches as stated. If you wasn’t there early you wouldn’t have seen the band. Just music playing the evening. Extremely  disappointed and I travelled 2 hours to go to this. 

Totally mis sold. A beer tent at best. 


We paid Â£33.25 for vip and the tables were no different to any other also we were expected to pay Â£5 deposit for the stein which I expected for free being as it was so expensive, we arrived at 6.40 and never seen the ompah band, just a dj 

There was no bands on at all, it was like a kids disco with the music what was being played.
