Funhouse Comedy Club - New Comedy Night

Funhouse Comedy Club, which already runs successful nights at numerous venues across the country, is excited to announce the launch of a brand new comedy night at Stourbridge Rugby, on Friday February 7th.

Funhouse clubs are renowned for having exceptionally friendly audiences and a brilliant atmosphere, which have led to twice winning Best Midlands Comedy Club awards with leading comedy website Chortle. Previous acts to have played its clubs on their road to the top include Sarah Millican, Joe Lycett, James Acaster and Rhod Gilbert, who described the clubs as “among the best anywhere in the world.”

Topping the bill is winner of the highly prestigious British Comedian of the Year, the self-assured Alistair Williams. Smart, passionate, impressively quick witted and bursting with infectious confidence, he tackles any subject matter with amusing results.

Opening the night will be the fantastic El Baldiniho, who appeared on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, with his mind-bogglingly daft magic and likeable stage persona he mesmerizes everyone.

Also appearing is Scottish funnyman Kevin Daniel one of the fastest rising stars on the Midlands circuit with hilarious, relatable material going down a storm at clubs across the region. His commanding stage presence, exquisite storytelling and quips aplenty always leave audiences wanting more.

Compere for the night will be Jon Pearson, whose laid-back storytelling has crowds hanging on his every word; his anecdotes are relatable and certain to have people in hysterics.
