Review of HOPFEST ON FIRE - Sunday 7th Nov
If you like a trendy middle class Cornish-style vibe you’ll like it here, but it comes with the tourist prices. Fireworks average, slightly bossy staff at entrance, but staff inside were nicer. Food and drink queues massive and slow, and expensive - eg my son had a pizza and chips and a pint of cider and a coffee £18. I bought my own food with me!

Review of HOPFEST ON FIRE
Very child friendly, my children aged 7 and 2 absolutely loved the childrens disco, face painting, bonfire, fireworks and the balloon modelling lady, she was an excellent entertainer. Would highly recommend for the friendly atmosphere and great food.

Review of HOPFEST ON FIRE
The venue was stunning ,clean and very enviting, the staff very helpful ,although the general organisation was shoddy.
This isn't and wasn't as grand as proposed. Suitable for very young children max 6 and unders .. children over this age were not entertained st all. The bonfire was very very small and too close so embers were landing on our children, there was a babies entering person who was rather poor, the live music was nothing at all special compared to there usual Mr Baker, and the fireworks were very very limiting.
There was unfortunately a bad stench of w**d from a group of boys and the wues for food so drunk being over an hour long just to order was ridiculous.
Such a shame ?

Review of HOPFEST ON FIRE
We enjoyed Hopfest in the Summer but was extremely disappointed by this bonfire event. Myself, my partner and two friends turned up just after 6:30. We queued to get in but we expected this considering covid checks etc. However, when entering we moved towards the marquee for a drink to find the queue some 100 people plus long and moving extremely slowly. There was a significant proportion of the attendees in the one queue. So we walked towards the top of the site for other areas serving drinks and food to find only a long food queue in the restaurant. We expect to queue but this was unreasonable and after spending 56 pound on tickets and more on taxi fare we left around 7:00pm without spending any money, seeing fireworks and had a long walk into Bewdley. Glad you had a good turnout but your service and catering was very much inadequate. Very disappointed for you and us

So the whole time we were there we were in a que for food also do drinks at the food stand so had to que again abs the little one was so thirsty and we were shocked and then when the fireworks came on we had no warning to be told. And there was no music wirh then. Won’t be going back

Review of HOPFEST ON FIRE
Great night good music with good food and a firework display, all the makings of a good bonfire night, the only exception was the half hour wait for drinks, many gave up due to the queue, they could have taken a lot more cash if they had man managed the bars better, 2 in the marquee and 1 in the wooden cabin bar/food area, another person was added late on but still a lengthy wait, also they need a better queue management system, people were jumping the queue at times.
