Folk-and-Country group THE SKILLETS have appeared on countless radio and television programmes, and have done live dates in the UK, Ireland, Germany, the Arabian Gulf States, and Canada.
A leading newspaper said "The aim of The Skillets is to entertain, not educate, pointing out that some Folk and Country singers are sometimes inclined to get a little too serious about their songs. Showbiz newspaper 'The Stage' said "Then The Skillets sing, something good is cooking!"
Since getting together some years ago, the trio have been seen in every type of venue, theatres, military bases, music festivals, pubs, clubs, and end-of-pier shows. Their music has been featured on many leading BBC radio programmes, including "Country Meets Folk", "Nightride", and "In Concert".
They have supported many top Folk names including Tom Paxton, Jesse Fuller, father of bluegrass Bill Clifton, and their mentor Lonnie Donegan. They most recently toured british Columbia Canada with Ramblin' Jack Elliott.
