‘It’s like walking through the pages of history’
The Town Walk is a lovely way to discover Stratford and its fascinating relationship with William Shakespeare. The walking tour passes Shakespeare's Birthplace, New Place, Hall's Croft, Harvard House, the Royal Shakespeare Theatres, River Avon, a range of architectural gems, Guild Chapel, Shakespeare's Schoolroom and Guildhall and Holy Trinity Church.
The guide will tell fascinating stories of fire, flood, plague, old-fashioned sayings, medieval medical cures and history, wrapped up in a little Shakespeare and amusing anecdotes. Wheelchair friendly. Dogs are welcome.

The walking tour starts on Waterside by the swan fountain, opposite the fish & chip shop on the corner of Sheep Street. Look out for the guide (wearing something yellow).
