Began it life as a church in the 1800 before converting to a theatre in 1925 and expanding into the attached three houses down the street giving way to house rehearsal rooms, to the 216-seater auditorium The Green Room Bar opened on October 5th 1973 and a The Studio Theatre was added in 1985 and in 1994 officially changed its name to The Royalty Theatre Strange sounds and footsteps have been heard around the building.Doors are said to slam when nobody is near them Moans and whistles have been heard coming from empty rooms and Black cat has been seen many times.
