WARM UP THIS WINTER WITH THE NPOWER SNUG - Watch out for the arrival of the npower snug in Sunderland on Friday 24th October Commuters and shoppers in Sunderland will be able to escape from the cold this winter, as from Friday 24th October, npower’s Acts of Warmness Snug will be in town at The Bridges Shopping Centre. The npower Snug is a little pop-up warming station packed full of warming treats, including hot tea and warming massage chairs. The Snug Squad, who will also be heading out into the town to deliver tea and warm up chilly city residents, are available to offer tips on how Sunderland residents could save money on their energy bills and keep their homes toastier this winter. A cosy haven from the grey and chilly outdoors, the snug is part of npower’s UK-wide ‘Acts of Warmness’ campaign which is raising awareness of the ways that npower could support people who need help to stay warm this winter. This winter npower will spend around £65 million helping those who need help to stay warm, and will be touring the nation to raise awareness of the number people can call if they need this support: 0800022220.
