AVOID if you are a family looking for a family friendly festival. Although this is advertised as a family friendly festival, it is most definitely not. The 'Family Car Park' and 'Family Campsite' was full by Friday afternoon and we were directed to an 'Overflow Car Park & Campsite'.
We were surrounded by gangs of youngsters who were vey drunk and anti-social, swearing, screaming obscenities at each other, being sick next to our tent, playing music and abusing passers by until gone 4am. No security, poor event management and a disastrous idea to bring my children. After a couple of hours sleep Fri night, we ended up leaving on Saturday morning as my children were so tired and grumpy, the weekend was ruined. No response from any staff there to our complaints.

Lovely weekend at festival, saw lots of good bands Razorlight being a highlight. We came last year and nearly didn't come again because the state of the loos. However this year I thought the cleaners all deserved medals - best festival toilets I have seen / experienced!! And not bad queuing too!! Just a bit more cleaning on the last day would have been nice.
Couple of down points - we came on Friday am and the parking for the campsite was much further away than last year ( which we weren't expecting) and was really hard work lugging all of the stuff from the van and we had to do several trips. Also it was carnage leaving the festival on Monday am from the campers carpark.
We preferred the layout last year and preferred entering the festival from the top rather than around the funfair. You seemed to be able to hear the noise from the fairground everywhere. There was no chill out area - last year the paddock stage was in the family entertainment field which had a nice relaxed atmosphere, this year it was amongst the noise of the funfair which was disappointing. Friends with young children were disappointed that you had to pay for most of the children's entertainment.
Sound from the main stage didn't seem as loud as last year when further back and you could hear the other stages and funfair in between tracks.
But still think it's a great event and will be back.

Review of La Casa Di Famiglia
We had a lovely time here enjoying a 3 course meal with the family. It felt special, a real treat in the festival. My only negative is I think given the restaurant overlooked the parc stage, it would have been better to not play any additional music as it clashed with what was on stage.

How someone can think it is ok to have people lug tents, food, kids etc from one side of the place to another without a vehicle or some sort of transport is ridiculous . My whole weekend was ruined from the moment I started taking our things to the orange field when we had parked in yellow. Not one worker knew where anything was no 1 offered any help. It was a shambles and a complete rip off on top of it. Not to mention trying to ring the 3 mobile numbers on the website contuinsuly for 2 weeks prior to the event, probably around 100 times each with no answer. the anxiety I had leading up to the events after receiving all the dos and through email and not being able to contact any1. We loved the opportunity to take part in this festival for the first time as our neig*bours go every year for the last 3. The only thing that I would have a little moan at is, my children weren't able to get into the main arena without me or Dad which I found a bit annoying because every time they tried to get in we would have to come down to the security to show we were there, so if we went in there before them or were still in our tent we would have to go down every time even though they had wrist bands on so wouldn't be able to drink because they would not get served, so why on earth did we have to walk down constantly to get them in it didn't make sense. We did have a really good time though but I was exhausted with all the the walking to the security gates.

Fantastic weekend. Plenty of toilets, which were regularly cleaned. Plenty of food options. Children were entertained all weekend. Some things were costly but expected at festival settings.

Great family festival, few small issues.... Anyone with a child ticket should be able to bring in a packed lunch and snacks, the tickets cost enough without paying ££££ to feed kids that won't eat the food available. If you can't take sealed cans of pop in, then make the prices for soft drinks cheaper, £3 a can is extortionate. If you don't want people to smuggle in alcohol, at least make sure the drinks at the bar at chilled for the prices charged!

Motorhome section wasn't great with no toilets or water access. No cleaning facility for dishes etc. Even people who paid VIP didn't get these facilities near by.
Signal was very poor and no access to the app for those with signal. Therfore couldn't get any info on times or places for things we wanted to see.
Food stalls were really good & great choices.
Price for the weekend motorhome camping and ticket was extortionate and didn't even get a lanyard with the details of the weekend included for that price.
Too many people crammed into the area, not ideal for families with smaller children trying to get through the crowds
