The show is dedictated to the jazz music and songs that were played in the year the club opened in 1949. "The Swing era meets Bebop!"
Who better to be our Master of Ceremonies for the occassion than Clarinet & Saxophine Maestro Pete Long. With Pete's vast experience in runnign the Echoes of Ellington Orchetra, Benny Goodman Concert Band, plus his Parker esq Be bop sax playing, and dediactions to Artie Shaw, Woody Herman he will guide us through this very special programme. With special Guest Denny Illett adding guitar inout from the likes of Slim Galaird,
All backed by the House rythym section with Dave Cottle stepping off the keyboard to add some Louis Armstrng and Dizzy Gillepsie trumpet to the occassion, & voclist Sarah Meek with some of Ella Fitzgerald and Jo Stafford songs of the time.
