Review of Enchanted Gardens Light Trail 2022
Felt like it was less engaging and entertaining as last years display- more static displays. Moving the food/bar/stalls to centre of gardens brilliant idea, frees up the entrance - could have done with some extra displays to fill the massive gaps at front of the park.
Not a very festive atmosphere among customer facing staff- guess operators are feeling a bit jaded by 23rd. Warned of prompt 8:30 curfew before we’d even given our names for entry… completed the circuit well within time and everything was shut at the end.
It’s great for the charities that benefit, and will continue to support the event - just left felt underwhelmed and unwelcome

Disappointing event. Last years seemed much better. No hot drinks available at the start of the walk. Very spa**e lights, very busy, we really wanted to support something local again and something we enjoyed last year but will not do this again or recommend to anyone.

Other than the start where there was a christmas tree in lights & drinks area with christmas music, the actual trail, whilst pretty, bore no resemblance to christmas at all!. The music, when present, has nothing to do with christmas, nor did the illuminations. Shame, as perfect venue for it. Also where it had rained there were big puddles & muddy areas that they could have out something on as was dark & slippery in places for elderly people.

Very disappointed, last year's was so much better. Disappointing light displays, no outstanding or wow that's amazing displays. Appeared to have been toned down this year. We were finished in 30 mins. No food for vegetarians. Will not be returning.

Not very spectacular. Mainly rods of light in trees and the ground. The xylophone/piano caused an enormous jam - clearly popular so why not more than one of them which might have kept the flow going, better. Shamefully we weren't even allowed to go to the food area after the end of the trail or to get back to buy the excessively overpriced hand held lights.
Having an extra 99p on EACH TICKET as 'booking fee' as well as a 50p transaction fee was a rip off. We won't bother going next year.

A lovely evening spent with family. suited all ages, we were very impressed. My only negative would be that there were no signs telling you where the entrance was until you were at the entrance!
