Charity concert in aid of Children's Hospice South West featuring recorded singer-songwriter and Stogumber Festival prize winner, Jemima Farey. (jemimafarey.co.uk) Jemima's prize was being the support artist for Steve Knightley at the festival. Ange Hardy has said of her singing "One to watch out for on the folk scene! With a voice like that, you scare me!"...others have said.."unique and truly amazing". Supporting the concert will be the Zembard Singers directed by Trevor Lloyd-Jones. They will sing a wide variety of songs from sacred works to well known classics by Bacharat and David, Richard Carpenter amongst others. Also supporting the concert will be the Minster Voices directed by David Sutcliffe. Their repertoire will include traditional and contemporary songs from Rodgers and Hart, Trenet and others. Guest artists will also support the evening. Interval refreshments will be available for donations. There will be a special raffle with top quality prizes.
