Went with a certain opinion of Terry Christian but left with a completely different one. Great bloke, funny and easy to get on with.... The embers is a top top place to go to, food is insane

Review of An evening with Bez
What an epic evening! A great interviewer, interviewing an absolute class entertainer and musician. We laughed all evening and couldn't stop talking about it when we got home. The venue was perfect, a great space for an intimate gig, without it feeling cramped. The atmosphere was friendly and a buzz with a diverse mix of people. The music in the background setting the tone for an unbeat and exciting event. The venue stocked a great range of quality drinks, both alcoholic and non alcoholic and didn't charge the earth. As well as the nights entertainment being absolute incredible, the grab and go menu was insanely tasty! The prices were so reasonable, reading the menu everything sounded lush. The devine smell of the food cooking was literally the first thing the celebrity guest commented on! The food looked as good as it smelt and the flavours... Oh my days!! The food was so delicious it spoke to my actual soul! I absolutely and whole heartedly recommend these events. If you get the chance to go to an event at Embers, don't wait to buy your tickets, because tickets won't hang around for long!

Review of An evening with Bez
Went to see interview with Bez (technically no music but didn't want to give poor review). The interviewer was great and really bought out some brilliantly hilarious stories from Bez and his memories. As a fan of the whole 'Manchester scene' it was a brilliant evening hearing the stories from Bez. He was such a nice bloke and we had a great evening.
The Embers is a great setting. Good food and wine and the room we were in was amazing.

Review of Embers Christmas Special with Thick Richard and Tony Stanton
Tony Stanton was very good. Talented singer song writer. Unfortunately his set was spoilt by majority of the audience ignorantly chatting throughout his performance.
Thick Richard's brand of humour didn't do it for me. Left me cold cold. Thought the section on famous people who had died this year was particularly bad-Sinéad's A Gonner......
Venue was great. Excellent food and drink, small intimate room.
