The Redruth Drapery

"This iconic Landmark of a building is a testament to the engineering background of Redruth. The steel frame construction was something very new in its day allowing it the grand glass frontage it displays today. The Redruth Drapery Stores was one of the first department stores of its kind in the South West up until the 1950’s. Since then it has had many incarnations and served Redruth and the wider area well. The Drapery is now an Independent Events Venue, curating a variety of Ticketed events throughout the year, anything from pop up food events, live music (acoustic, semi acoustic) wine tasting, talks, theatre, comedy, workshops, exhibitions, corporate events.
