The Brass Monkey

Tyber & Peter were great and the atmosphere was fantastic. Very interactive and upbeat. They both seemed genuinely overwrought by the enthusiasm and participation of the audience. We love that they are still playing small local venues at reasonable prices. And will look out for future gigs. The only disappointment was after the Dualers set, the venue played totally unrelated music, alienating approx 300 customers who all left, a lot went to another venue which was playing Ska music until late. The atmosphere died, Brass Monkey missed out on A LOT of custom and it reduced our potential extended enjoyment of the evening. We did advise this to a member of the bar staff before we left, who said it would be passed on to the manager, as it was clearly a valid point.
