Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year! What an event we have installed for you all to open 2025!

We welcome back Junior Booker who resumes hosting duties and we can't wait to introduce on to our stage some new faces to our show who we guarantee will bring that uncontrollable laughter we are accustomed to here at Comedy Fete! The 4 new quality acts joining us for the season opener are Mr Cee, Lateef Lovejoy, Samira Banks & Muhsin Yesilada. Ollie Reyhart returns to our stage after a late replacement in a previous show and it’s only right we have him back for a full performance. 🎙️ JUNIOR BOOKER (your host)

Hosting our shows from the start Junior is a young and charismatic comedian from South London. He has been ripping up shows all over the country and recently starred on Mo Gilligans Channel 4 The Lateish Show. Over a short time span Junior Booker is a fast rising star showcasing his own comedy shows and other rising comedians.

🎙️ LATEEF LOVEJOY

Lateef is an an extremely gifted entertainer, who made his show business debut as a witty 12 year old on ITV's famous morning gameshow "Mousetrap". After that experience on the big screen he has never looked back. Not many performers can boast of having exceptional skills in all the main areas of the performing arts, lateef has these multi-faceted skills in abundance!

As an Actor he has trained at the legendary Young Actors Theatre and to date has work on a range of Feature Films such as Recently in ''The Darknight'' sequel to 2005's ''Batman Returns'' alongside Hollywood A-listers Christian Bale and Heath Ledger, proving his versatile and incredible talent !!!! Also in TV, Radio and Theatre projects, both in the UK and internationally, and has recently completed writing, starring, and producing has own comedy sketch show pilot "HeSaidSheSaid".

Lateef also has tremendous comedic talent and is one of the most unique and distinctive acts on the comedy circuit, and vastly gaining the reputation of becoming a force to to reckoned with, both on the Black, Mainstream, and International comedy circuits. Lateef played to sold out shows at the Oude Luxor Theatre in Rotterdam and the Tuschinski Theatre in Amsterdam when he toured Holland and has featured in many of the UK's top comedy clubs and venues.

🎙️ MR CEE

Cool, Charming & Conscious, Mr Cee is the ‘Urbane Comedian’ & one to watch out for on this 'Circus of Fun'. 

Equally skilled at Hosting or Stand-Up, Mr Cee has performed at venues such as The Hackney Empire, The Comedy Store, Glee & Jongleurs Comedy Clubs. He has also supported Comedy Giants Kevin Hart, Dick Gregory, Paul Mooney, UK Legends Felix Dexter, Gina Yashere, Curtis Walker, Angie LeMar & African Legends AY, Basketmouth, Okey Bakassi & Clint Da Drunk on their UK tours. Also he has hosted/performed at Concerts with Busta Rhymes, Redman, Method Man, Corrine Bailey-Rae, SWV, Jon B, Janet Kay, Carol Thompson to name a few. 

His comedy achievements ranges from doing 'warm ups' most recently for CH4’s Award Winning ‘The Big Narstie Show’, the BBC1 show ‘Blouse & Skirt’ & also winning the ‘Best Male Newcomer’ at the Prestigious Black Entertainment Comedy Awards in 2000.

Being one of the founding ‘Leaders Of The Nu Skool’ a collective of progressive & ground breaking comedians, Mr Cee has been for over 17 years, consistently nurturing countless comedians on their journey into stand up comedy & elevating the standards & shows.  Mr Cee is also a D&AD Black Pencil Award Winning Mentor, at the world renowned School Of Communication Arts 2.0.

🎙️ MUHSIN YESILADA

Muhsin Yesilada, a stand-up comic with a Psychology PhD, is carving a reputation in comedy. Stages like Vauxhall Comedy Club, Glee Club, and Top Secret Comedy Club resonate with his humour. A Chortle Student Comedy Award Finalist and So You Think You Are Funny semi-finalist, he’s been nominated for New Act of the Year and UK PhD Student of the Year.

Since venturing into stand-up in 2021, Muhsin’s sketches and podcast have amassed 50 million views on Instagram and TikTok. As per Eastern Eye, he’s hailed as “one of the hottest young comedians on the UK live circuit right now.” Get ready for laughs galore!

🎙️ OLLIE REYHART

Ollie was a Max Turner Finalist in 2023, he has also beat the Blackout, and is now over 300+ gigs deep. He began his journey into show business in New York City and has performed at many iconic venues over there such as Greenwich Comedy Club, The Grizly Pear, Brooklyn Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy Club, The Stand and more.

🎙️ SAMIRA BANKS

Samira Banks, the 2023 winner of So You Think You’re Funny? and one of the UK’s most exciting up-and-coming stand-up comedians. With Middle Eastern roots and a fresh perspective, Samira has quickly made a name for herself on the London comedy circuit. She’s also claimed victory at the Up the Creek Blackout and the Vauxhall Ding Dong Gong Show, further proving her comedic prowess.

With her sharp wit, relatable humour, and natural stage presence, Samira is a rising star who captivates audiences wherever she performs.

🎧 CJ iDJ is an international DJ & producer who tours internationally at such destinations as Marbella & Ibiza as well as hosting his own acclaimed events in London and a solid booked out itinerary across the whole of the UK. CJ iDJ will be setting the mood before and during the show providing the sound effects and interacting with the comedians creating an electric atmosphere.

Please hang around after The Comedy Show as from roughly 22:30 all chairs and tables will be taken away and a dance floor will be created for all guests to party the night away with CJ iDJ playing club classics and party favourites to get you moving on the dance floor and continue the good vibes Into the early hours of Sunday morning.
