🎙️SLIM

Slim is one of the UK’s biggest stand up stars and the undisputed king of the Black British Comedy Circuit.

Physical, ebullient and unashamedly for the people, his multi award-winning 20 year career has seen him perform to thousands all over the world. He’s sold out several smash hit tours, including the Hackney Empire numerous times over. Slim has also supported several high profile US acts including Kevin Hart and Dave Chappelle.

His popular brand of humour is generous, smart and bursting with infectious energy. He’s toured the world extensively including the whole of Europe, Barbados, Jamaica, Qatar, the Falklands Islands, Dubai and even performed at the N.A.T.O Headquarters in Belgium.

Slim is also the first Black British comedian to sell out the London Palladium with his own show. Slim has supported acts such as John Witherspoon (Star of Friday and Boomerang), Felix Dexter (star of BBC2 Absolutely Fabulous), Robbie Gee (star of Guy Ritchie’s film ‘Snatch’) Also 2005 saw him play host to Americans: Bill Bellemy (Star of Def Comedy Jams ”How to be a player”), Kevin Hart (star of ‘Soul Plane , Paper Soldiers” Mark Curry (star of ”Hanging with Mr Cooper”) who he supported on their UK tours. After the ”Bill Bellemy” tour, Slim was invited back to L.A where he became the 1st Black U.K comic to perform at the world famous Hollywood Comedy Store in Feb 2005.

Slim has an extensive list of TV credits including: Live at the Apollo (BBC Two, Live at the Hackney Empire (BBC One), Sorry I Didn’t Know (ITV1), Mel Giedroyc: Unforgiveable (Dave), Rhod Gilbert’s Growing Pains (Comedy Central) and The Russell Howard Hour (Sky One)

🎙️ JUNIOR BOOKER (your host)

Hosting our shows from the start Junior is a young and charismatic comedian from South London. He has been ripping up shows all over the country and recently starred on Mo Gilligan's Channel 4 The Lateish Show. Over a short time span Junior Booker is a fast rising star showcasing his own comedy shows and other rising comedians.

🎙️ KYRAH GRAY

South London born and raised, Kyrah began her comedy career in 2019 during her last year of University. Her rise on the comedy circuit has been impactful, securing impressive gigs at comedy clubs across the UK. Kyrah has since graced the prestigious O2 Arena stage as part of Mo Gilligan’s Black British Takeover, as well as supporting Axel Blake, Tom Davis, Guz Khan, Judi Love, Romesh Ranganathan, Russell Kane and others on their most recent tours.

Beyond live performances, Kyrah has a huge online presence and has performed for Comedy Central Live and BBC 1Xtra’s Comedy Gala, with her stand up clips reaching millions of views on TikTok. She has starred in Netflix’s YouTube sketch ‘What Would You Do?’ with Harry Pinero, and featured in Nines’ Crop Circle 2 film.

Kyrah’s skillful comedic voice has landed her a seat in the writer’s room for hit shows Bad Education and Rosie Jones’ Out Of Order, as well as developing her own scripts and a podcast.

The future is bright for this charismatic and captivating performer.

🎙️ TRAVIS JAY

Travis Jay is a stand-up comedian, actor and radio presenter and Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year nominee.

A phenomenal live act, he has previously played to sold out crowds at the world-famous West End Palladium Theatre as part of the U Got Jokes Comedy show and performed alongside Dave Chappelle for Dave Chappelle and Friends directed by Stan Lathan in 2018 which subsequently led to him supporting Chappelle in London as part of his world tour. Travis made his Edinburgh Fringe debut in 2019 with his show Funny, Petty, Cool which achieved widespread critical acclaim and recently supported Britain’s Got Talent golden-buzzer winning comedian Kojo Anim on his UK tour in 2020. Travis’s electrifying live performances have garnered immense praise, with his 2021/22 show, “Travis Jay Live,” selling out the Bloomsbury Theatre and being recorded for a special release in 2022.

Going from strength to strength, Travis has had a busy few years writing for the revival of the classic hit show Spitting Image (BritBox) with recent TV appearances including Black, British and Funny (Channel 4), The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2), Late Night Mash (Dave), Drunk History (Comedy Central) and The Artists (Channel 4). He is the creator and co-presenter of the popular weekly boxing podcast Undefeated, with fellow comedian KG tha Comedian.

🎙️ JAMES REDMOND

James Redmond is a dry, slick and subtle stand up who delivers unexpected twists and turns during his set as he deconstructs his art. He made his name as a model and actor and is best known for seminal roles in 'HOLLYOAKS' (C4) and 'CASUALTY' (BBC1) and presenting 'SM:TV' & 'CD:UK' (ITV), alongside Cat Deeley. He has appeared on 'NEVER MIND THE BUZZCOCKS' (BBC2), 'CELEBRITY COME DINE WITH ME' (C4) with fellow comedians Paul Foot & Joey Page, and is a regular guest and contributor on 'SOCCER AM' (Sky 1) & Radio 5 Live.

James performs 6 nights a week, all over the U.K. as compere, or with a set of up to 30 minutes and has done over 350 gigs in his first 2 years, including: The Comedy Store Conan O'Brien's 'The Tonight Show' Talent Search (as MC) Comedy Rush at The Shaftesbury Theatre Jongleurs, Camden Banana Cabaret Bracknell Comedy Cellar The 100 Club The BBC Club Spank! Amused Moose, Soho Laughterhouse, Liverpool The Funny Side & the comedy festivals of Bristol, Exeter, Guernsey, Hull & Liverpool. He shared a daily, hour-long show at the 2010 Edinburgh Fringe Festival and has also played the university circuit and a range of clubs for his agents, the UK's largest comedy bookers, Mirth Control Ltd. In addition, he hosts the charity comedy club, 'Laughing Stock', in Hampstead, and has hosted charity events at Shoreditch House, Bristol Cathedral & the Indigo O2. James has performed at over 1,000 events and is a fabulous presenter as well. He has a track record as a model and actor and is best known for seminal roles in Emmerdale (ITV)  ‘Hollyoaks’ (C4) and ‘Casualty’ (BBC 1) as well as having presented CD UK alongside Cat Deeley and appeared as a guest on ‘Never Mind the Buzzcocks’ (BBC 2), Celebrity Who wants to be a Millionaire; (ITV 1) and ‘Soccer AM’ (Sky 1). 

🎙️JOE HADDAD

Joe Haddad is a London born British – Arab actor & comedian who will take you on a 1001 tales of his upbringing – where comedy meets therapy! He has credits on stage, screen and audio that extend across the BBC, The Young Vic, Royal Court, Barbican, Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Audible. He is a regular on the London Comedy Circuit and also works as a presenter.

ROCABALL DJ

Born & raised in West London, he is a multi-talented DJ, Host, Designer & Entertainer. Representing Roc Ure World Entertainment he will be providing the soundscape for the main comedy event and then providing the soundtrack to get you all on the dance floor and party the night away once the comedy show is over into the early hours of Sunday morning!

Rocaball has been DJ'ing since the late 90’s to early 2000 & is a a multi genre DJ, who plays decades of music from the 60’s to present day. His favourite being the 90’s / 00 era whether it being Hip Hop, R&B, Bashment and Jungle - that time was the best time for music for him and is presently loving Amapiano which he has a very big catalogue of.

From time to time Rocaball also makes comedy sketches, which is available on his socials and via @FatLadySingsComedy page. Writing and performing comedy is something he loves and very passionate about, hopefully one day he is hoping to make it back on the big screens but we’re trying to get him on a Comedy Fête stage performing with us before hand.
