Review of LIVE! At The Yard
Great event. Really poor price points on non alcoholic drinks. To cost £5.50 For a pint, and £6 For a can that cost 6 for £2 in certain shops was shocking. Also that it cost a fraction less for half a pint. Not great for drivers on a 5 hour event.

Fantastic venue and location, great facilities
Look forward to hearing about any future music events. We travelled from Leicester
Only recommendation is to have more seating at the back and sides

Thoroughly enjoyed my first experience at the carding shed. Looks like a great venue, especially for up & coming bands. It would be good to see more artists coming to Wakefield. Good luck for the future.

Review of LIVE! At The Yard
For a first attempt at a country music festival this was a decent attempt. Probably a lack of seating given the age range, but the music selection was good (I'm biased towards Friday's rota as two of my favourite artists played), food offering very good if you are there all day on Saturday.
Slight attention required to vocal versus instrument volume, which means I need another good listen to Lauren Housley, but for a first use of the room that would expectedly improve with more experience.

Review of LIVE! At The Yard
Not enough chairs and tables even though half empty...no parking and was turned away with a disabled badge at first as the parking attendant didn't understand English.
It felt like a school hall re atmosphere.
Drinks extortionate priced and in plastic cups. Not great.
Albeit the singers were very good.

Review of LIVE! At The Yard
Jade Helliwell and Kezia Gill were amazing, but would have been better if people in the audience would have stopped talking when they were on. I don't understand why people pay to go to an event to talk loudly all the time. An announcement to respect the performers would be good. I think the sound needs adjusting too. Toilets were big and clean, but only 6 for the ladies. It wasn't very busy yet we still had to queue, I hate to think about the queue if it was busy. Would prefer to have a seated area for people who are unable to stand for long. £3 for a can of c**e seemed a bit expensive and there was no water to make a squash which I thought there had to be. The venue itself was very clean and there were numerous staff walking around cleaning up all night. Better signage outside would be good. Staff very friendly. All in all, I think with a few tweaks this could be an amazing venue and would definitely visit again.

Review of LIVE! At The Yard
This event was a good idea that was let down by poor organisation and diabolically bad sound. The bar service, like most of the event, was half-hearted, with limited drink selections and disposable plastic cups. The outside performers had to contend with music from the nearby licensed venues and the inside sound was so bad you couldn't hear a word the magnificent voices of the performers were singing. Given the less-than-half-capacity crowd, there was no need for the high volume, which made a clear mix impossible in that room. I hope future Tileyard events are better designed and supported and that the artists they program are given a better chance to showcase their talents.
