Review of Boogie Bingo Live! - Movie Musicals - Walsall 15/9/23
Awfull advitised as live band music.
We walked in no music handfull of people just sitting playing bingo. .
we got an email on the day saying get there early will fill up quick. Absulute waste of money.
Never again

The bingo beforehand did go on a while and got boring and was just normal quiet bingo. However , the entertainment from 9pm was great. The atmosphere got better, but think it would have been even better if the lights were turned down . Overall, a good night and would recommend

Not what I was expecting, queued in total of 1 hour and 20 mins just to get in and get my first drink, it was serious bingo and not a laugh like other events I have attended, the atmosphere was to serious, people seemed to have want a good time but a lot of swishing going on, the second part of the events music was as expected but the lights was bright, just didn’t fit What they was trying to pull off, very disappointing, left early

Confusion with tickets
Queues out the door, queues for tickets queues for bar and a 40 min wait for food.
Some people's paid 1/2 the price I paid even though calls made to club to confirm what tickets needed to be purchased.
All registered before event but had to wait for cards to be printed.
Don't think anybody was really managing who had paid what and people who hadn't paid for the event were staying..
Plus I didn't win lol

We booked a couple of months ago to attend Walsall dirty dancing Vs grease night on 26/5/23.
When booking directly through the buzz bingo site it gave us 3 option in which was very confusing, so I called ahead and spoke to a man called Dave who talked me through the booking process.
We were offered:
Option 1 which was bingo only £11
Option 2 entertainment only £11
Option 3 all in £22.25
We booked the all in tickets at £22.25 pp.
Fast forward closer to the time another friend decided to add on in which she purchased 4 tickets and again as the website information is very misleading and unclear she directly sent a message to Buzz Bingo Walsall to ask if she purchased the BOGOF offer option 2 would this include the all in offer which would include bingo and entertainment, she then received a message from Buzz Bingo Walsall confirming this, in which she paid £11 f and it included extra books. (More books than the £22.25 booking).
Therefore as you can imagine the rest of our party was extremely frustrated, that we had all paid £22.25 each.
This night was booked to celebrate my sisters 30th the whole night was a complete shambles.
There wasn’t enough staffing which again is frustrating when this is a pre booked event and the management team are aware of the numbers in advance that are to be catered for.
It states online that you need to become a member to reduce the waiting time in which we all ensured that we were to then arrive and be told we needed to have a physical membership card and wait in a half hour queue before we could enter to enable the staff to print 15 of us a card.
Once we had our card we then had to join another half an hour queue for a stamp which again was a huge shambles the stamps apparently indicated who had paid for the entertainment and who hadn’t however the manager was just giving stamps out Willy nilly again causing more waiting times for those who have paid for the all in and also allowing customers who hadn’t paid for the entertainment access for free which again was so frustrating when we had paid double.
Once that whole frustrating experience was over all we wanted to do was get some seating and have a drink, however we were then faced with the next half an hour queue to get a drink, it took so long to be served that we then missed our game and when we finally reached the bar the contactless card machine wasn’t working.
Finally after sitting down to try and at least have a game I called over the manager.
I advised him of our poor experience and he kind of just shrugged it off and said well I’m not going to go and kick everyone out who hasn’t paid and that Buzz Bingo have nothing to do with the tickets sales, however it was the Buzz Bingo site that we directly went onto to book the tickets and it was Buzz Bingo walsall that we called who advised us in which tickets to book.
This whole experience was terrible from start to finish the manger shrugged it off I had to ask if we could maybe have a free drink which maybe could have been considered on his part rather than us having to squeeze blood from a stone.
I would really appreciate if myself and my friends could be reimbursed for this whole experience as we now need to plan another 30th night out for my sister as the whole night was ruined by Buzz Bingo Walsall.
