Enjoyed the night but was disappointed with the live band . The price of the tickets reflected that there was a DJ plus live band . They only did one spot . I believe other people said they thought the band was not very good

Venue was great, DJ was great, the band was quiet I’d say there were some technical issues with the sound also the lead singer was too reserved to get the croud going, also poor song choices.

The band never got the sound right and were asked to leave before the second set. A refund should be offered only went to the event to see the live band.

The band was shocking they only did a few songs and had a break came back out and started to pack there gear away,thank god for the DJ who saved the night

The band was awful you couldn't hear them and kept getting feedback the dj took over which was much better we still had a good night never the less, atmosphere great everyone lovely unfortunate a one off problem

We've been to several Motown and Northern Soul nights at the Aquarius before usually with dj's and have had brilliant nights. When we saw this event advertised as a band and dj we decided to book as we thought it would be good to have live music as well as a dj. Our experience was not at all good though. The event was overbooked and there were seats and tables laid out on half of the dance floor. We could barely hear the band and what we did hear wasn't good. The singer didn't have a strong enough voice for Motown and soul and a lot of the songs were neither soul or Motown. The band were asked to leave after their first set as there were a lot of complaints made about them. The dj completed the night, but we paid for live music, not a dj.

we had a brilliant night could have done with more bar staff but those that were serving did a brillant job the bar prices were really good would certainly go again .

Thank you too everyone that attended the motown night. Apologies for the bands sound issues the tech really struggled to control it due to software issues. Thank you for the comments about the disco and to the people that had asked for cards have an amazing weekend

We arrived at the venue about 815. - to find it almost full - atmosphere was really good- the live band came on - although the sound wasnâ??t brilliant to start - it improved- some people were perplexed to find it wasnâ??t the band advertised, however, if these were brought in as a last minute reason they were very good , DJ was great and people were on the dance floor all night - we enjoyed it - but just goes to show not matter what you do in any situation- you canâ??t please everyone- but over all a good night .

The group had trouble constantly with their sound the female vocalist did not have a soulful voice it was a mono tonal and the dance floor was small as extra tables were put in by it as the evening was starting
