It was an utter joy to see Jean Martyn. She entertained us with a great variety of music from classical, jazz, musicals and even a bit of Thunderbirds and Titanic. She tells some really amusing stories and then was happy to chat to people after the show. An excellent evening out at a very pleasant theatre. It was my first time at the venue, but I would happily drive an hour again to visit.

About

She has played in theatres and concert halls literally all over the world including the USA and India. She played for 10 years at St James Palace for war veterans meeting members of the Royal Family. Other notable venues include the Windsor House Show, Carfest with Chris Evans and the Houses of Parliament. Jean’s career took an unusual turn when she auditioned for and got on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent. Her endearing smile, great humour but most of all her incredible talent led to her getting to the final in 2011. This led to TV appearances on This Morning, Daybreak and Songs of Praise. Cannock’s own is delighted to be back at the Prince of Wales where she hopes to meet and entertain many old and new friends.
