Absolutely fantastic ! My first time at TOTH and cannot wait to return next year with our friends and family . Great atmosphere . Great food and drink , no ques either as ample staff and stalls to accommodate . A great event .

Lots of very good Acts, having been for a few years some things are better and some not as good. The toilet facilities were no where near as clean and maintained as previously. Some of the great acts from previously were missing - Queen, Cold Play and ABBA for example.
Lionel was very weak as a performer - has an amazing voice but kept trying to engage the crowd rather than singing which was what people went to see.
The sound quality was very shaky - Killers could not be heard too well and the poor kids from Teacher's Pet had lots of sound issues. If running a music event please get the sound right.
At the end of the night the organiser barged through with his mates saying "officials" they just wanted to dance at the front. It came across as rude and entitled.
The extra 80s band was a brilliant idea! The bar prices I felt were reasonable as well, the entire event is really good value and there is a fabulous vibe. I love the inclusivity of the weekend meaning children with additional needs were hugely welcomed and treated with the respect they deserve. The stick and step charity and scouts being supported makes the event feel very worthwhile and provided some amazing kids with some wonderful experiences.
I will 100% go again but I do think some of the feedback should be looked at :-)

I appreciate that there are reasons, that vendors pay money to be on site and that forms part of the reasons for policies. That said there was zero leeway on the no food or drink policy. In fact the security were not even handed, they were very, very heavy handed and when question the blunt response was "policy", one word "policy. Now to talk more about security, this is a 2000 person festival, it is small, but there was so much security it felt as if they were expecting trouble, this is a family festival, there was never going to be trouble but their presence per head far exceeded that of a Download, Bearded Theory or Reading/Leeds.
Also the security checks were ridiculous, a chair in a bag, the chair was removed so they could check there wasn't any food or drink being brought in, coats and hoodies were unfurled to ensure no drink or food was brought in, a purse, A PURSE was inspected for "liquids" it's a purse, it barely holds coins.
This was how it was going through security every time, as well as bag checks every time. It was over the top, it made the festival unenjoyable and really not the way to do it. The headline sponsor was a security firm and I wonder if this was the impact of that.

was a bit disappointed that couldn't bring food from campsite into arena, not even snacks, as had young children with me & food prices were too much to keep up with the whole weekend

The ska band were brilliant. Thai food truck was excellent. A couple of the tributes did really low tempo songs when they could have picked much better songs that would have gotten the crowd moving more. Great day out overall though.

Great location, plenty of space in camping field, lots if space in venue, good selection of food vendors, ran very smoothly, great variety of music for all tastes, plenty of toilets that were clean n had loo roll, bins available alongside 2 people doing a sterling job of collecting litter, fab atmosphere, no inappropriate behaviour. very impressed
