Review of Daresbury Festival 2024
Fantastic beginning and end as the music played was 'House, Disco and Dance' which is what the crowd wanted. Very dreary few hours in between as Craig Charles played 70s mash of funk and soul and then Soul II Soul gave a short lecture and said 'are we ready for some funk?' 'No' clearly was the crowd response as everyone stopped dancing and drifted away. They didn't play music that the we were there for (unlike previous year that hit the spot for the duration). Fortunately Alister Whitehead knew exactly what he was doing and gave a really strong finish. Turning off the music for 30 mins for a 'changeover' on a short festival at the peak time was bizarre. Any local DJ would have given a great set!

Review of Daresbury Festival 2024
Preferred the layout this year and the extra amenities. Sound was great. Live bands were fab. Toilets clean. Didn't eat. Drinks prices were average. I was lucky to get early bird tickets but I'm not a fan of the tiered pricing. I wouldn't want to pay more. Would like to see local dj's at the event to. Sammy Dean would be perfect for this event.
