The Matterley Bowl is a long established entertainment site that has been used for different types of events since 1998. It consists of a 50 acre natural amphitheatre that is so inspiring it was used by General Eisenhower to rally the troops before Operation Overlord, better known as the D-Day landings that began the final push for Victory in Europe during World War 2. Located just outside of Winchester within the Matterley Estate in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it offers an attractive backdrop for all types of outdoor events such as festivals, concerts, sporting occasions and non-licensed activities.
