Review of Rodeos presents Keep it Country Festival 2024
The musicians were amazing but the sound quality decreased towards the evening. Drinks were mostly sold out later afternoon and what was left was overpriced. Toilets were filthy and had big queues and no loo roll. Food available was tasty but few options compared to what was advertised.
Overall we made the best of it but I was disappointed by the experience and felt the tick*t price didn't reflect the event which was a shame.

Review of Rodeos presents Keep it Country Festival 2024
Unfortunately the venue let this event down badly. Music was great and food and drinks were the usual high prices for events but not too high. Venue had insufficient toilets for the crowd with huge queues. The bar queue was well in excess of 45 mins to 1 hour + for much of the time. Seating was extremely limited and no provision for older guests who could not stand for 8-10 hours. Staff were unresponsive or unhelpful in dealing with issues in our experience. As an experienced Event Safety Officer I was not impressed with the venue and its 'compliance' with the Purple Guide. We never actually reached the bar to be served, never managed to find a seat, and gave up and went out of the venue to get drinks and food and use toilets. We never went back. So it was a waste of money for the tick*ts, travel and hotel.
The music we heard was great and the atmosphere was good apart from a lot of people upset and complaining about queues for bars and toilets and lack of seating for an event scheduled to run 10 hours.
Organisers need to remember that a lot of older people, and those with disabilities, have been country music fans for years and maybe consider them a little more when planning events.

Review of Rodeos presents Keep it Country Festival 2024
Event itself was great. Really well planned & acts spaced out well enough to accommodate every taste in acts. First time attending this event & will definately go again. Issues with the venue which has been addressed by the event organisers & reassurances of not using the venue again. Astoria ran out of a lot of alcohol, toilets were always queued, not the cleanest, no running water for the sinks & 2 toilets out of order. It was almost like Astoria couldn't cater for the amount of people even though the event wasn't sold out & was quite empty compared to what I expected. If these issues hadn't happened, I believe Astoria would have been an ideal venue; which I guess is why it was chosen. Hope Astoria get sorted & are able to host other events a little more successfully in the future as it's a great little place, staff really nice & good facilities.

60 minutes to get a drink
Drink prices were extortionate - £24 for 4 cans of beer! That cost is akin to theft!
Toilet queue 20 mins, to then be greeted with no toilet paper, toilets that wouldn't flush and the taps weren't working.
I paid £60 for access to this event and I was extremely disappointed with the lack of staff on the bar, the toilet situation, no seating, extortionate drinks costs.
The music might have been good, but not good enough to mitigate against the shambles we experienced.
I will not be coming again.

Review of Rodeos presents Keep it Country Festival 2024
Didn't stay long enough to really experience the music, however the price of fries were around £6, didn't make it to the either of the bars as the queues were the length of the room on both. The only acceptable queue was the whisky bar. It advertised stalls, it wasn't well set out. The outside stall by the whisky bar was cramped and the two stall inside were not clearly marked and nearly lost by the bar queue. You would have been better off putting it in a muddy field.
We left after 20mins.

Music was great.
Venue was appalling. Only one of each toilet, only 2 bars, very slow service, ran out of beer early in the event then charged £6 a can for Carling bought in a local Tesco.
Food service slow, options underwhelming and very expensive.
Dangerous access to smoking area, no lighting, no signage.
All in all, would not return.
