Review of Monster Truck Mayhem
Was okay as a day out as the weather was lovely, but could have been so much better if we knew where to go for each show and if the food/drinks and kids rides were not so expensive (£6 for a slush/£4 for 5 mins on a bouncy castle or slide (friction burns were free and received by my grandson and many other children due to no sacks provided on the mega slide!!!) The Viking Show, Stunt Riders Show and Bike show were quite good but the Monster Truck show was a bit of a let down with only one truck but the grandkids were still excited to see it. An expensive day out but nothing is cheap these days.

Review of Monster Truck Mayhem
The show substandard and not what was advertised. Having waited over 45 mins just to see 1 monster truck do a 4 minute show we were left feeling extremely disappointed. Queues of 1-2 hrs to ride a monster truck that ended up breaking down!! No theming of the show, ridiculous queues just to get parked and what felt like an add on to an extortionate fun fair!

Review of Monster Truck Mayhem
There were far to many people it was dangerous. Nobody scanned my ticket going in, FAR too many people & not enough toilets ,the disabled one I used didn't even work it was VILE.
Kids coming off the inflatables in tears as they were all being burned to the point I warned a total stranger because both her children had shorts & Tshirt on as it was so hot.
Drinks were extortionately prices £2.50 for a bottle of water when we were discouraged from bringing food in.
It was advertised that there would be areas for disabled people to see. I am disabled so this appealed to me. As especially in the heat I struggle to stand for any lengthof time. When we first went to the arena we found said area with a sign & a steward at the entrance I was initially impressed. That was until I was told there was another arena for the monster trucks. So moved to another area which was already 8-10 people deep with children getting squashed others on top of adults shoulders so nobody could see.
We waited for well over an hour but felt like forever with no real information or updates or what was going just a poor DJ trying to keep everyone's spirts up & failing miserably.
There was 1 monster truck that had broken down & had to wait with little information to update us as to what was going on. After it had been repaired it drove over 3 cars twice maybe 2 or 3 times to which hardly anyone could see. The pictures shown when booking the event had seating and more than 1 truck.
The only one that seemed to be working, people were getting charged £12 per ride & queues of over 2.5hrs for it to later over heat.
When we tried to go back & make the most of the day & go back to the disabled area but the steward was gone someone had moved a rubbish bin over the sign and again many adults were standing with children on their shoulders & it was a solid wall of people about 8-10 deep. Myself my family gave up & decided to leave as did many others there was a disabled teen in a wheelchair with ear defenders on who was having a total meltdown because he couldn't see anything also a man on a mobility scooter trying to get out. It was nothing short of Chaos and down right dangerous.
Children had gone missing & on the monster truck arena there was shout outs for the parents of a young boy then stating they couldn't give more information for health & safety (fair enough) then a few meters further down at the 2nd arena they were shouting out that parents had lost a boy with his name age & description the lack of communication was ridiculous. One saying they couldn't give out details of the missing adults but another a full description of a child.
As I left I tried to voice my concerns but was basically just fobbed off. We left the traffic to get there was STILL as awful as it had been to get in hours previously. Luckily we only live what would normally of been 10 mins away but it still took us well over an hour to get there.
I am not convinced that the right permissions/permits or whatever were granted the entire thing was ridiculously badly managed & down right dangerous.
I asked about getting my money back but have just been fobbed off further.
Worst family day out I think we have ever had I wouldn't even give any of it 1 star but I had to for it to register.

Review of Monster Truck Mayhem
Absolutely rubbish........ unable to see any of the Monster trucks just the tops of their roofs as they went by. Then heard that the Monster truck was broken and the queue to ride in one was 2 hrs long but then it set on fire. The fairground was over priced, small "99" icecream cost £4 and a can of diet c**e £2.50. Best part of the day was getting soaked by the race course sprinklers on the way out
