Review of Trimpley Music Food & Heavy Horse Festival 2024
Great family day out and great that people are allowed to take their dogs but stricter controls need to be addressed as there were 2 dogs running loose all day and upsetting other dogs who were on leads. This spoils it for the responsible dog owners.

Review of Trimpley Music Food & Heavy Horse Festival 2024
Good music, not badly priced products. Probably could do with a few more stalls shopping wise. However it was a great day out and family friendly so the little one enjoyed it aswell. Not too busy and over crowded either. Tickets was fair price will be looking to see about going next year.

Review of Trimpley Music Food & Heavy Horse Festival 2024
Very little going on through the day. More an evening of music than anything of a heavy horse show. Lost its original roots. Didn't help that lunch time was a wash out for a while. Few fair rides , carnival games, pony ride, no shelter from the weather. Lots of food and drink stalls. Bag checks were not allowing drink or food to be taken in .
Short walk from parking to event field.

£2.50 for a 50p can of c**e and £12 for three little pieces of chicken a roll and skinny fries extortionate is the word I think especially when you cannot take your own food and drink, and you see other people with sandwiches packed in foil blatantly breaking the rules.

Review of Trimpley Music Food & Heavy Horse Festival 2024
Event was in the middle of a field which you have to walk to so not great for pushchairs. We missed the heavy horse show which was a shame as it was not located near to the main area & didn't know what time it was to start. There were only about 4 super cars but the American classics were fantastic to see. Live music was great as was the dj in between, wish ABBA tribute had not been last though. Friendly family atmosphere & lots of dogs & children was nice. Social Eats bar was good, not overpriced for drinks. Food stalls were good, lots to choose from, Bagel Mafia & Black Sheep Grill were our faves. There was rides & games/inflatables for younger children, plenty to do. The weather ruined it for a bit a couple of times but we held out & the sun did shine & we left near to the end! Would go again next year

Always worth a visit to see the beautiful and rare Suffolk Punch horses and the lovely ponies. Even the cows are chestnut colour 😄
The stalls are really interesting too but the music was a bit wasted on a damp day. Shame the tickets are now sold through a third party which adds on 2 lots of charges increasing it by 25%
