Review of Worcester Hot Air Balloon Festival
Entry was very good value but the food and rides were very expensive. Take a picnic and blanket or chairs. We were given regular updates on whether the balloons would fly and really appreciated that the pilots tried their best to put on a show despite conditions not allowing the mass assent we'd hoped for. Watch out at 6am the following morning as they will most likely fly again.

I understand that the balloons are weather permitting but it was very disappointing, especially as towards the evening the entertainment was just bikes and stunts and the wait in between everything was very long. The food stands and rides were very overpriced which is what you expect but when the main attraction (hot air balloons) did not happen it all feels very disappointing overall.

Price getting in was fair but food prices and drinks were a bit pricey! £5 per ride per person? Again for families made it expensive. A wristband would be a better option.

Such a disappointment. We'd never been so weren't sure what to expect but to pay for entry just for the privilege of spending yet more money on which was essentially a glorified fair ground and a rip off at that, was shocking. No activities for the kids only a few shows and we didn't even get to see any balloons taking off! Won't be going again

Fair rides far too loud and the fair was spread out across too large an area so there was limited area that was quieter to make camp and the food stalls were too scattered and away from the area where you could make camp. The stalls were scattered obscuring the views of the attractions from. There was no family friendly background music for dancing or relaxing to. Toilets were good bins were good , parking good.

We had a great day, but we were four adults there to enjoy the food, displays and weather. If we were there for the fair it would be a very different story. How can they charge £5 a go on the rides! No wonder they were always empty. Charge less, attract more - surely you'll make more overall?

We had an excellent family day out. Lots to see and do. Beautiful weather and a good variety of food options, trade stands and entertainment. Phenomenal value for money.
