I thought there would be more stalls with more variety. We only stayed a couple of hours as we had been around the exhibitors twice. We didn't stay for the main music event as the 1st act was not very good.

Wow what a great event for Driffield in its first year it looked like a success.
Lots of families and people about!
The stalls were all great a nice selection to shop around all ok priced too!
The food stalls were fab lots of choice from all around the world, struggled to find something for the kids, luckily there was a bratwurst 🌭 stall selling regular hot dogs.
Bar was over priced which was a shame as we would have used it more if it was more like £5 a pint and not £6-£7.
There was a massive pile of picnic benches stashed away behind the scenes it would have been good to have more seating out as lots of people struggling to find a seat.
Having seen the posts on social media about not been able to take a bag and water into the event with us we decided not to bring our dog, which ment we came later to the event.
Tickets were reasonably priced for entry, with it been a food festival we expected to pay more for our food witch at £11 for Greek gyros and chips 🍟 was fine!
Rides for the kids was also a good price at £3 for fun house and they got two turns, £5 for big trampolines was ok too!
The layout, atmosphere and music was great! The event felt safe and the kids could run about as they liked, would have been nice to allow things like fruit and snacks in for the kids just to keep them going before tea time.
We will definitely be back next year!

Price to get in absolute bargin on the early bird tickets. I just wish there had been a few more acts on during the day. Maybe ask local bands next time to fill in during the day as we have some brilliant local artists in driffield that had a wondeful following

Attended both days and enjoyed ourselves. The variety of stalls was better on the Saturday for some reason. Plenty of free parking. The music was great. Did have a problem booking on Skiddle though.

Review of Gastro festival Driffield
The event was enjoyable, with a variety of entertainment options and diverse stalls catering to different preferences. However, the pricing of some rides at £4 per child was considered expensive for families with multiple children. Additionally, the security personnel at the gate displayed excessive strictness by nearly denying my daughter re-entry despite having a valid ticket with a date and QR code. Aside from that, the entire event was a pleasant experience and I would recommend it

Whilst being a smaller, localised event, we enjoyed a few hours wandering through the stalls and enjoying the performers. The stallholders were all friendly and enthusiastic about their products. The food offerings were varied which was great for us as we all enjoy different things. There were fair rides available for all ages and the live music was good. A nice way to spend an afternoon!
