Review of Sexy Sunday
I know in previous years there'sl has been bands and drag acts for sexy sunday but this year there wasn't anything for the price . The band cancelled , the 'burlesque' was just the organiser getting her kit off for 5 mins and music kept cutting out all night plus the light display on stage set no fire part way through. Half the crowd had left by 10pm. Really disappointed as could have gone to a different event for less.

Came with a group of friends but we left early as it was totally different to every other year that we have been. Was always the best night of the weekend up until this year .... total let down..
we didnt realise that it was live bands as we wouldnt of bought a ticket ... some of my group wanted to leave straight after the first band who sounded like they were tuning their instruments up !! Every year we have stayed until the end but we only lasted two hours ... way over crowded on the dancefloor this year and tables were so close together it was a nightmare to get out from our seats to the bar so we didnt bother ... ended up going to the Abbey Wharf instead ... sadly will be avoiding this event next year if its going to be the same again. One of the band members from the first group seemed to have a bad attitude towards some of the guests which is the first time I have ever seen this sort of behaviour here. Not good !

Very disappointed this year and actually left early for the first time ever .Atmosphere was not like usual and thought the first act very poor and one particular band member very rude and unprofessional..It’s a shame as it’s put me and my family members off from attending the met again

The band Sanctum Sanitorium were excellent took us all back to our club youth days. They were very entertaining.
One thing I must comment on is NOT being able to print out your tickets until the day before. This is highly inconvenient as I didn’t have a printer to access from the day before, I had to rely on the generosity of my B n B owners to print them. I don’t like Apps they are easily hacksble.

This was an amazing night! The band Sanctum Sanctorum was a great booking, there’s a real buzz around them now and the venue was packed full. I love the Met Ballroom, friendly, atmospheric, good facilities but they didn’t seem geared up for such a big crowd and bar queues were right out into the dance floor and the tables were empty and all standing spaces full.
Didn’t spoil my night tho - thanks to everyone involved in putting it on!
