Le Djoon

Borrowing its name from a Persian word that can be translated to "soul", Parisian house music temple Djoon has been tirelessly defending soulful music in its largest sense for over 15 years, bringing over emerging talents and timeless legends alike for the delight of its eclectic and forward thinking crowd. A shelter for dancers, as well as music lovers, the 1st club of Paris' 13th district, was a first step in Paris for many artists, bringing artists such as Louie Vega, Terrence Parker, Black Coffee, Dixon, me, Levon Vincent ou The Martinez Brothers to France (and sometimes Europe) for the very first time, and playing a key role in bringing the house sound to the old continent. Djoon's programming can be described as both forward thinking and firmly rooted in the history of the house music underground with artists such diverse as Raoul K, Demuja, Paul Johnson, Antal, Djeff Afrozila, D.KO, Move D, Folamour or Hunee. Not only is DJOON an iconic club, but it is also a sophisticated bar from wednesday to saturday, a place hosting weekly DJ livestreams with international artists and eventually a cultural shelter opened to dance, art and creation. The multifaceted nature of the DJOON can also be summarized in one slogan : SOULFUL MIND !
