Maison D'être SLOPES.... FULL DETAILS RELEASED!!!

We’re really excited to announce our plans for our week long joint powdermad.com and maisondetre.eu upfront and new electronic music and snow party in the French Alps.....covering House, Tech House, DnB, Jungle and Techno...

"Powder Mad is a community of like-minded individuals, whose love of backcountry and off-piste skiing and snowboarding is deep within their DNA." ..... Matched with the apres ski house music party vibe provided by Maison D'être, it's a recipe for one hell of a weeks' get together!  

St Foy is a piste'd resort but off piste for the more experienced skiers and boarders is available there too.

The dates are 13th to 20th April and the central location for our snow activities are in the picturesque secluded French village of St Foy, near Bourg St Maurice. Our music events will be held both up in the mountains and also in the village itself at various bars and clubs throughout the week, so there will be a lot of activities for you to be part of! Expect amazing French cuisine, du pain, du vin and probably a lot of fromage too!

Mid April is the end of the season in St Foy and although there is still snow, the weather is certainly warmer than earlier in the year so even if you don’t wish to participate with the on-snow action, there is still a lot for you to get involved with, all under glorious sunshine. 

A key part of our choice for mid April, is the closing events and fun activities you will be part of, as the resort itself and it's staff - party hard for the last time in 2025. Expect numerous things happening throughout the week, and the highlight will be our own daytime party in a specially built snow cave, carved out at the top of the mountain. Sound equipment and decks will all be provided for an unforgettable day rave up. 

Another hilarious event is a fun race on the Saturday 19th at the top of the first lift, where participants compete on a shared snowboard or skis. It's a hilarious, boozy day that also features a water slide, food, and our own DJs playing alongside local talent throughout the event. This is a well attended free* event with over 300 people involved based on previous years.  

*It is possible to walk from the village to the fun event on 19th (or ski down from one of the ski lifts), however our daytime snow cave party on the mountain is ski/board in out only accessed from 2 additional lifts - no walking possible for the snow cave event, so lift passes are definately required to access this, plus an ability to at least slide down the hill (with our support!) on your hired ski or board equipment (after your lessons!).

The following events are ONLY available from Ski lift/ski/board in access:

1) Marquess bar - day time parties and DJs

2) Snow cave and jump - Day time parties crazy ski jumping

We have 32 places available sharing apartments per 2 people (separate beds), so 16 rooms in the Résidence Club MMV L'Etoile des Cimes Hotel  in the centre of St Foy.

In addition to the 7 nights accommodation, a collection and return transfer in our minibus from Bourg St Maurice railway station is included. This station is served by the Eurostar direct from London St Pancras (these rail journeys are not yet released by Eurostar- ill update those in August after release), as well as trains from Geneva international airport, see pictures below for Easyjet flights Gatwick to Geneva and then trains easily booked in English on www.thetrainline.com to get to Bourg St Maurice. The concept is for everyone to arrive at the same time at BsM for collection, so we get as much fun time in at the resort as possible. I will of course be driving as I live in the SW France, and so will several others. A shared hire car option may be worth considering but not obligatory. We have laid on the free transfer as there are limited taxi services in the area. 

There is also La Folie Douce Les Arcs which is a major Electro daily music event / bar come club on another opposite mountain resort (Les Arcs) but it will take a lot to get there and back in one day, so I propose for us to create our own similar (and better!!) parties in St Foy.

The price for all our package of accommodation, transfers, music & other included activities is £650. Lift passes (required for on-mountain parties), ski equipment, snow clothing or lessons, food and drinks are however not included. 

Many have already expressed an interest by pre registering (free and no obligation) at www.maisondetre.eu and this enables us to communicate specifically to those who fancy partying with us, so do get involved online! For those wishing to join us and commit, a £150pp deposit* is required now to secure your place, which will enable us to build the event for your arrival. Another payment of £150 is required at the end of September with the remainder payable 6 weeks before the event via bank transfers to Jem at PowderMad (you will receive these payment details by email after your first registration on our website). If we don’t get the minimum 32 attendees (including performers and guests) then the event will be cancelled and any deposits paid will be refunded in full.  

Several DJ’s across a variety of radio stations have expressed an interest in joining us, including House Music Radio, Centreforce, RushFm, Cyndicut, Shine879, Freshsoundz and Rise1.
