Review of sideways presents… rebirth: 100% nu metal!
This was the first time I had been to an event at Mad Jaks IOM other than to throw axes. It was book with ease on the bus into town, great price and the place was pumping. Fantastic night, venue and price. Highly recommended.

Review of sideways - the island’s indie night… with indie karaoke!
The night was not as enjoyable due to the karaoke element.
Whenever anyone wanted to sing the entire room went silent for far too long while it was all set up, even when it was set up it wasn’t done very well.
Music that was initially played was not the more well known stuff so people weren’t as willing to go dance.
Staff were all friendly and first visit to the venue was nice but I wouldn’t go back to a karaoke one again.

Good music, good venue size per attendees. The shots were expensive, and they only had one c**ktail available - which they ran out of within 2hrs of event opening. Shame they couldn’t go to Tesco 200m down the road to restock.
Other than the drinks, everything else was amazing.

I had the best time! Everything was ace!the staff are lovely! Everyone just had a great time! singing our hearts out together!
My hangover is worth it and that says alot haha!
