This was an enjoyable and fun way to spend an evening.  I had never been to Nottingham Castle before. The staff were really lovely, approachable, helpful and friendly. A relaxed, chilled evening. Most of the acts were really good.

Great night, lovely choice of food. The new acts were confident if not always funny.  The main act, Maisie Adam was the best and so funny. Loved the presenter too, very funny.
I would bring a warmer jacket next time for when the sun goes down.

Good evening out with some great comedians.

Review of Comedy at Nottingham Castle - Bank Holiday Sunday

Venue had no cover leaving it open to elements. Was very cold and windy, would have been better with a tent cover. There were no where near enough toilets, the queue was constantly huge. People standing around chatting in queues nearby to the seating, which disrupted the show. Lots of people left early. I wouldn't attend another event here run by these organisers again.

Great event but it was extremely cold and windy some kind of marquee or shelter would of been useful after all it is the UK!!!.
They did reduce time between the comedians as it was getting so cold and rain threatened, would of been a total wash out if it had rained as there is nowhere at all to shelter and this would not of been great for the acts to perform to an emptying crowd, I didn't  receive an email regarding moving last entry forward 15 minutes and the need for blank*ts etc thankfully I was chatting to someone outside the venue who updated me.
All the acts were brill and Tom Davis was brilliant as expected he came on earlier due to the cold and performed for 40 minutes .

Love an outdoor event but obviously the weather can help in making or breaking a night. It was very cold which would have been bearable had the acts have been better. The acts were ok but there weren't many laughs from where we were sat. Maybe the atmosphere at the back wasn't good, might have been better sat at the front.
Pros - enough seats for everyone. lovely setting. compere was funny.
Cons - not much choice of food or drink. acts weren't that good. quite pricey but no more than you would expect from an event where you are limited to purchasing from the few stalls there.

The comedians were fantastic . Some shelter may have helped as everyone was freezing. Or a few fire pits scattered about to warm up during intervals.  But would highly recommend and would return another year maybe more prepared for the cold.

Good event, comedians were great. Good toilet facilities.  Could do with a sail, incase of rain.

Watched comedy at the Castle. It was perfect!
