Review of Defected in the Bull Ring
I really enjoyed the night. The security staff were cam but thorough.
The bar staff were polite and calm. Entrance and tickets easy.
High quality drinks with good measures. €18 for Gin and Tonic or similar (no garnish). The high prices deterred people from drinking too much and you enjoyed the drink you had. This added to the good atmosphere.
Bad bits:
Toilets need someone as an attendant like in most decent late night dancing venues. This would help prevent the blockages and the toilet sharing.
500ml water is €6. Even the staff were embarrassed. In that sort of place where hydration is really important perhaps a separate area with just water for sale and perhaps €3 or 4 instead of €6. Still steep but...
Overall will go again, but for the average income person like myself it will be for special occasions.
Keep bringing the DJs - we have been short of this here for many years!
