The Mountain Bass Experience, An Autumn Adventure

The Mountain Bass Experience is a unique cross between a members club trip and private micro-festival based in mountain locations, off the beaten track.

This is not your typical dnb event... forget huge production, enormous stages and thousands of people! Instead, we focus on principles of equality between everyone involved and mutual respect, allowing a unique opportunity to build a family of like minded people from all corners of the music industry and the globe. A place where you truly get to know the organising members, fellow ravers and artists, a place where we forge lifelong friendships and connections.

Each experience is based in a hand picked location with an emphasis on creating memorable, unique and carefully crafted experiences in often overlooked places, based on our knowledge and passion for travelling, the great outdoors, nature and, of course, drum and bass music. Last year we took you to Arinsal, Andorra for 5 days of skiing and dnb. This year we head to the sunny south of Spain for 5 days of dnb and mountain fun in two stunning locations off the beaten track in the sunny Sierra Nevada mountains in the south of Sapin!

This event is a mountain bass members club activity. Our members club is free to join and open to anyone who aligns with our values and the ethos of our event . The aim of this club is to create a community of like minded DnB lovers who respect each other, love nature and trust us to take them to places they would normally never visit, let alone see headline DJs performing!

Members Club Activities: Open decks events, group hikes to incredible viewpoints, group meals, indoor and outdoor/ day and night parties, pub quiz, sustainability activities, women in D&B event, sunset headline DJ sets in outdoor mountain locations with Etherwood & Monrroe, a "Music is Medicine" showcase with DJ XK, a "Liquid Chill Podcast" filmed from a secret outdoor viewpoint, a group artistic mural, social gatherings.... and if you don't fancy any of that, plenty of time to enjoy the stunning local scenery, hot weather, nature, friendly locals and great prices. 

Optional Activities Include: Hiking, rock climbing, paragliding, astronomy, canyoning, mountain biking, abseiling, guided tours, 4x4 tours, horse riding or time to do your own thing, if you wish! 

Accommodation comes in many forms, you can have a private house with a pool overlooking the mountains, stay in a mountain refuge, a hotel with other attendees or you can camp or glamp minutes away from one of our main venues. Check our website for full info!

The Mountain Bass Experience is based on an ethos of:

- Equality (between everyone involved, from artists to attendees)

- Quality over quantity (less people, more proximity, “no walls”, real life, real people, real love for music, better value for attendees)

- Togetherness through our love of music (meeting people and experiencing music as a family)

​- Enjoying music in unknown, natural landscapes of extraordinary beauty (supporting but also protecting natural settings and wildlife, bringing people and music to places they’ve never been before and wouldn’t go otherwise, implementing social and environmental programs to improve our footprint and surroundings and to reduce the social and environmental stigma on the impact of electronic music events)

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a non for profit, Mountain Bass Members Club event. Membership is open to anyone who aligns with our values but you must become a member before joining our members trip!

We organise this event for those who trust us to take them to places where they would never usually visit, let alone see headline artists perform in. The locations are hand picked by us from our knowledge, love and experience of travelling, music, meeting wonderful people and enjoying local culture.
