A DJ with decades of experience, Robbie Duncan has played at renowned venues such as The Roundhouse, Ministry of Sound, and Bush Hall. However, his true passion lies in sharing the transformative power of music with others.
As the Creative Director of AM Events since 2007, Robbie specialises in bringing the club and festival experience to commissioned events, curating unforgettable musical journeys tailored to each occasion. He is also the co-founder of Sonar Sessions, a live electronic music event series that champions cutting-edge artists and underground sounds.
From mentoring aspiring DJs to curating his long-running weekly podcast ElecSoul, Robbie is dedicated to fostering community and celebrating diverse sounds and cultures. ElecSoul, running since 2020, explores jazz, soul, future R&B, and soulful house, taking listeners on a journey through timeless sounds and innovative electronic music. Based in Stroud, a town renowned for its creative community, Robbie brings his expertise and love for music to every episode, showcasing the richness and diversity of the global music scene. The podcast is released weekly on SoundCloud and Apple Podcasts.
On the decks, Robbie’s live performances are a dynamic and creative expression of his musical journey.
