Just a magic wee festival crammed with lovely, friendly people hellbent on enjoying themselves - which wasn't hard as the venue is idyllic, the music amazing and the booze prices very affordable!!!

It really is a brilliant little festival. Small enough to be cute, big enough to get great bands. Food vans are better than most festivals I've been to. Very little queue for loos, proper showers. Very suitable for families and not really trouble as it has just that fun family party vibe. We are about to book for our third one

Craic by the Creek FAQs

Craic by the Creek takes place Friday 18th - Sunday 20th July 2025.

Craic by the Creek is located at Whitebottom farm in Etherow Country Park, Compstall, Stockport SK6 5JQ. Use postcode SK6 5HZ and then follow festival signs to the Festival Car Park on Compstall Road, SK6 5HH/

All food vendors and festival market stalls will be cash / card only. They do not use the token system - this is exclusive to the bar.

The Craic by the Creek site will be accessible from midday on the Friday morning. The entertainment won't begin until the evening but campers,  glampers, Motorhomes / Campervans and Caravan ticket holders can arrive and pitch their tents / get settled from 12pm. The festival bar will be open from midday and food vendors will be on site.

 

If you are a general admission ticket holder (and are not camping / glamping etc.) you can still turn up from midday if you wish. The bar will be open for you to get a head start on the masses/

Entertainment at Craic by the Creek will begin from 6pm on Friday evening and will end on Sunday at 9pm. The full music schedule by day will be released closer to the festival weekend.

We kindly ask that all festival goers leave the festival site on Monday. If you're a camper, glamper, or bringing your motorhome, you are welcome to stay on the Sunday night and keep the party going until the early hours. There will be plenty of food and drink to keep you going!

Not Allowed:

  • No alcohol to be brought onsite – This is strictly in accordance with the rules of our alcohol license
  • No glass allowed
  • No illegal substances or legal highs
  • No fires or BBQs
  • No sound system
  • All children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult
  • Unruly behaviour is not accepted
  • No rucksacks in the barn / stage area - trip hazard
  • No public cars on site
