Review of Löser, Wolfsmoke, Bay of Pigs and Ego trip in Rotherham

Great night of live music! Awesome bands ( especially Löser) would definitely look for future shows.

Review of Löser, Wolfsmoke, Bay of Pigs and Ego trip in Rotherham

What a night. Loser had all the set up of major professional Motorhead band. Complete with big Marshall Amps with band branding, Lemmy's signature bass and impressive John Bonham style drum kit. Front man Daz could only be Lemmy with his tall stature, beard, long hair and rasping voice. The support bands were also top notch with Bay of pigs starting off with a mix of original and thrashy covers of songs including Metallica, Black Sabbath and Queens of the stone age. Ego trip up next with original music sounding straight out of 90s Seattle for a true grunge sound with fantastic cover of Would ? by Alice in chains. Wolfsmoke were main support with a full set of original Rock/metal/grunge fusion music full of fuzz with plenty of jumping around and a surprise short acoustic song about kitties. Then Loser finished off with a polished authentic sounding set of Motorhead classics with 2 Ramones songs thrown in for good measure. Opening proceedings and entertaining between bands was comedian Robin Zetina who was highly entertaining and funny and worth seeing outright, making sure there were no lulls throughout the 4 hour event. I left with my ears ringing just as I'd expect from a Motorhead concert. Overall a spectacular night of entertainment for the price of 2 pints

About

50 Years of Motörhead!

10 Years Since We Lost A Legend.

2025 is a HUGE year for Motörhead anniversaries. It's been 50 years since Lucas Fox convinced Lemmy, fresh from being fired from Hawkwind, that he'd be better forming his own band than joining another one. Lucas Fox, Lemmy Kilmister and Larry Wallis toured for about 8 months starting in 1975 setting the foundation for what would becoming 40 years of original hard hitting Rock 'n' Roll!

If you love all things Motörhead and want a fun evening full of music AND comedy then you want to attend the "Searching For Guest Artists" Tour when it crashes through your town. At each stop Löser will be bringing along additional acts for you to enjoy. From original grunge, original thrash, or original hard rock straight through to fellow tribute acts playing music from your favourite hard rockers.

Get your tickets and enjoy the UK's bill that promises to be everything louder than everything else!
