Belladrum adds Kaiser Chiefs to line up

Belladrum revealed at midnight last night that indie rock powerhouses Kaiser Chiefs will be the Saturday night headliners at the festival's 2015 incarnation on August 6th-8th.

Having been in the limelight since 2003, the Mercury Prize nominated band have enjoyed a raft of best -selling albums and singles as well as many a sold out tour date across the UK (see why in their Glastonbury appearance below). This will be their first time playing in the highlands since 2004, and a Scottish festival exclusive.

This follows on from Belladrum's last announcement that Scottish duet The Proclaimers would be the first to headline the Highland festival. Other new additions include celebrated Glaswegian vocalist Eddi Reader, hot new indie two piece Honeyblood (check out Super Rat' below) and exciting pop music upstart KLOË.

Balladrum has also announced that this year's fancy dress theme will be superheroes, giving you plenty of chance to plan your comic book inspired outfits in time for the festival's launch on August 6th.
