Blue Monday 2023: No booking fees on all ticket purchases for 24 hours only

Each and every year in the wake of the festive period, we collectively experience what is said to be the most depressing day of the year. And it’s little wonder why. The Christmas tree has been taken down, the lights no longer glisten, and the heaps of chocolate tucked away in every drawer and cupboard around the house taunt you and your New Year, New Me fitness goals. 

Combined with dark and gloomy skies, the cold and unrelenting rain, and unprecedented financial worries being felt by all and you’ve got one pretty miserable time of year. So miserable in fact that travel experts felt it necessary to conduct research into this bleak day, back in 2005. 

Presenting their findings to the nation, they discovered the third Monday in January to be the most dismal day per annum and subsequently dubbed it, ‘Blue Monday’.

Refusing to let this seasonal day of sadness win in 2023, we here at Skiddle have decided to do what we can to help you combat these so-called January blues. So, on the 16th of January, we’ll be refunding all booking fees for one day only to help reduce the cost of entry to one, two or several events this year. 

Got your eye on an upcoming warehouse rave or a heady club event? Has your favourite band or artist recently confirmed a tour, coming to a city or town near you in the not-so-distant future? Maybe you’ve got big plans for a festival adventure in the spring and summer, to dance amid the lush green fields of the British countryside or perhaps in warmer climes, upon the beaches of Spain, Croatia or Portugal. Then why not take full advantage of our booking-fee-free day? 

Turn that frown upside down, start making plans for an exciting year of experiences in 2023 and save yourself some cash all at the same time, this Blue Monday.

Terms and conditions:

Booking fees will be refunded for one day only, from 00:00 until 23:59 on Monday 16th January 2023 (Blue Monday). Booking fees will be refunded for all event/ticket types with no limit on the number of tickets purchasable throughout the day.

Booking fees will be charged as normal on the Monday and then credited back to your account by 5pm on Tuesday 17th January 2023.

This booking fee credit must be used by Tuesday 14th February 2023 at 23:59. After this time, the credit will be removed from your account.
