Egg LDN 12th birthday part one and two

Looking in on the raft of house and techno aficionados inbound for Egg LDN's 12th birthday celebrations, it's obvious that their rave expertise ripens with age. Over the course of a weekend, two 12 hour dance marathons will take place on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd May at the world famous club. 

Where better to recruit the party catalysts than from Ibiza itself? Amnesia residents Hector Couto and Cuartero are first to spin from their Balearic inspired libraries that made up the entirety of their smashing back to back effort below. 

No Artificial Colours, the UK duo currently dropping on Kerri Chandler's Madtech and PMR records, inject a block of thumping basslines into the same stretch. Adding to that, Off Recordings' Thomas Gandey, German Brigante, Mar-T and Andre Butano are present to exert their turntable trickery on the landmark occasion. Buy into that here.

Exercising their tried and tested party mould yet again on the Saturday, Egg LDN recruit one of house music's most iconic figures. Green Velvet, who also operates under Cajmere, penetrates the shin dig with his cultured record box that scales from 'Percolator' (below) to 'Bigger Than Prince'. 

Nicole Moudaber prolongs the party with bags of rolling techno and chief operator of the Mannheim sound, Nick Curly arrives in striking form. Making room for some disco notes, quirky groove trader Dimitri From Paris is pinned to the line up, with special guests still to be unveiled. Lock down your tickets here.
