Eskimo Dance was the pioneering party movement for grime, showcasing established and up-coming artists within the genre. Now the concept is set to take over a string of major cities as part of the UK tour.
It was one of grime's pioneering artists, Wiley, who developed the idea for Eskimo Dance and began to welcome young, raw talents in London to display their skills. He's been announced to lead the London and Bristol legs of the tour, but the Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds and Birmingham bills are yet to be revealed.
Joining Wiley in Bristol is Newsham Generals' MC D Double E and rapper Chip. Regular DJ partner Logan Sama (watch him in action with Newsham Generals above) will also play on Saturday 20th February.
For the London date on Saturday 5th March Chip joins Wiley again, along with the likes of P Money and Ruff Sqwad. The DJs for the capital's show include DJ Target and Elijah & Skilliam. Boy Better Know's Skepta has just been announced also.
The full dates for the tours are listed below:
Bristol - O2 Academy Bristol, Saturday 20th February
London - Building Six, Saturday 5th March
Leeds - O2 Academy Leeds, Friday 18th March
Manchester - Academy 1, Saturday 23rd April
