Now entering its 13th year of operations, the mighty Coloursfest returns to the Braehead Arena on the banks of the River Clyde on Saturday May 31st to retain its status as one of Scotland's most essential large scale dance music events.

The last few years have boasted mammoth line ups that, combined with Colours ability to create the ultimate rave experience, has resulted in its exalted status amongst dance music heads around the country.

This year sees an equally impressive raft of big name DJs hit the colossal Glasgow venue. Heading up the main Colours Arena will be the fearsome Dutch brothers Showtek. The duos more recent excursions into EDM have yielded stunning results, as their collaborations with Hardwell, Tiesto and David Guetta (hear that above) alongside an increasingly busy touring schedule continue to affirm position at the forefront of the progressive electro movement.

Dutch Wunderkind Martin Garrix (check out his blistering Ultra Music appearance above), Bingo Players and Blasterjaxx are among the other formidable acts taking to the Colours Arena. Armada take over Arena two with American trance mogul Markus Schulz, Future Sound of Egypt masterminds Aly & Fila, Cosmic Gate and Sneijder all raring to inject some top drawer trance into proceedings.

Arena three will see a full menu of GBX Anthems, whilst the hugely popular northern ravers Goodgreef invite Da Tweekaz, Alex Kidd, Mark EG, Adrenalize and loads more to bring some powerful hard dance to really kick things off.

With yet more arenas to explore (check those out here) Colours have ensured that 2014's Coloursfest will be another unmissable triumph, a one day celebration of the very finest in feel good dance music. Head here to grab your Coloursfest tickets.
