Never ones to do things by halves, the Gatecrasher Birmingham crew have once again come into their own for their forthcoming end of year bash.
With production values already being legendary at the Midlands super club, New Years Eve sees even more extravagance and exuberance lined up. Expect stage performers, dancers, pyrotechnics, fireworks, ice cannons and loads more as all the stops get pulled out on the 31st December.
The artists lined up to play show boasts yet more more trademark Gatecrasher quality. First up is the all conquering brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence, AKA Disclosure. Since the brothers finally broke through at the end of last year, they have gone from strength to strength, headlining festivals like Latitude, Lovebox, Glastonbury and T In The Park amongst others as well as demonstrating considerable nous behiund the decks (check them above working the Mixmag DJ labs).
With an impressive run of chart topping singles and extensive support from Radio One tastemakers Zane Lowe and Annie Mac, Disclosure have in the past year become the hottest property in dance music, matching mainstream success with underground credibility, an incredibly hard feat to achieve. We recently reviewed their new track 'Apollo', check it out here.
Breach - Jack
They will be supported by another one of 2013's success stories - Breach. His low slung bass house anthem 'Jack' swept the nation, becoming ubiquitous in Britain's more discerning clubs and providing one of the most popular hits of the summer. With an extensive back catalogue of cutting edge electronic wares, Breach is an artist you can't afford to miss out on. His live sets traverse house, bass music and techno with skillful ease, optimised for dancefloor devastation.
The crowned queen of bass music Hannah Wants will also be joining the Gatecrasher NYE spectacular. This year has seen Hannah Wants truly come into her won, with an ever busy DJing schedule due to her unparalleled skill behind the decks. Expect all styles of bass music threaded together in a way that will blow your mind. Radio One favourite Danny Howard will be smashing out a plethora of 'dance anthems' whilst NO ID and Friend Within round off what promises to be an almighty New Years Eve Soiree in true Gatecrasher style.
