Ghostpoet and Art Brut announced for Farmfestival

The first acts have been announced for Somerset's Farmfestival, which returns to Gilcombe Farm this July 26th - 27th.

Created in 2006 by a small group of local friends, Farmfestival began as an intimate gathering for just 400 people. Seven years later and the festival has retained its intimate, independent spirit - although word of mouth and a consistently good reputation has seen the crowd size gradually swell to more than 4000 festival goers.

The festival remains adamantly sponsor-free, the lo-fi DIY aesthetic combining with the genre busting music policy to create the unique atmosphere. Previously quoted as one of the UK's best kept festival secrets (Dj Vadim / Venue Mag), the cat is slowly being let out of the bag.

The first acts for this year's event have now been revealed, with London wordsmith Ghostpoet and rock legends Art Brut leading the way.

Other acts confirmed for Farmfestival 2013 include The Skints, DJ Die, Reeps One, Son of Dave, Typesun, Mt Wolf, Nimmo & The Gauntletts, DJ Woody, Leftside Wobble, Laidblak and The Fire Beneath the Sea

Weekend tickets for Farmfestival are now available, priced at just £50. Get yours below or go to Farmfestival 2013 tickets
