One of the Sheffield music scene's prodigal sons Joe Carnall Jr is set to exhibit his new project Good Cop Bad Cop at an in store signing and performance in Liverpool.
The self titled studio release from the Milburn man sees Arctic Monkey's drummer Matt Helders take on production duties and is a swift departure from the guitar spanking, kitchen sink indie Joe Carnall Jr is associated with.
The album, which is released today (Friday 29th March) leans heavily on melancholy mid tempo melodies, with a strong use of synths and drum machines, with Carnall Jr displaying his songwriting craft expertly - check out lead single 'Silk and Leather' above to give a taste of the new record.
The singer songwriter comes to Phase One Jacaranda Records on Monday 1st April where he will sign copies of Good Cop Bad Cop's debut, while also delivering tracks from the record.
