Gotsome's low end bothering track 'Bassline' has been pricking the ears of BBC Radio One's radio jocks Nick Grimshaw, Danny Howard and Annie Mac, an down comes with a video. As you'd expect from a track with that moniker, it's all about an infectious bassline, with the monotone vocals of The Get Along Gang gifting the track the kind of hummability that gets your head grooving as well as your feet tapping.
The track is released by Defected in March, and already looks set to follows Gorgon City's 'Ready for your Love' into chart success. The video is above and has some nice old school references including watching a VHS (remember them), a pirate radio esque intro and an early nineties feel, which fits well with the acid feel of the track.

Getsome will be heading up to Middlesbrough next month to headline the TAW First Birthday, part of a bill that celebrates the future heroes of dance music ('Bassline' certainly hints at that). There they will be joined by Toolroom's Prince Club and fellow Defected signee Cristoph, who recently delivered on the Skiddle Mix front (check that out above). Ticket info here.
